⏱️ When should I install my eSIM?

We recommend installing your eSIM before you travel (e.g., at home or the airport), as you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to download the eSIM profile. The validity period of the plan usually begins when the eSIM connects to a supported network at your destination, so installing it early won't waste your days.

Scan the QR Code

After purchasing your plan, you will receive an email containing a QR code for your eSIM.

Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).
Tap Add Cellular Plan or Add eSIM.
Select Use QR Code and scan the code provided by Connectra.World.

Label Your New Plan

Once added, you can label your new eSIM to easily identify it later.

Choose a custom label such as "Travel" or "Connectra".
Set your Primary line as the default for Voice and SMS.
Select your new Connectra line for Cellular Data.

Activate Data Roaming

When you arrive at your destination, make sure your phone is set to use the eSIM for internet access.

Go to Settings > Cellular.
Tap on your Connectra eSIM under Cellular Plans.
Toggle Data Roaming to ON.
Ensure the line is turned ON.

Troubleshooting Tips

Can't scan the QR code?

If you cannot scan the QR code, you can enter the details manually. Tap "Enter Details Manually" on the scanning screen and input the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code provided in your confirmation email.

No internet access?

Make sure your Connectra eSIM is selected as the active line for Cellular Data and that Data Roaming is enabled for the Connectra line. Restart your phone if the connection doesn't establish immediately.
